Our Dad Rick Matheny started playing the guitar when he was about 11 years old. Years down the line he and his friends formed
a bluegrass band. The whole family would go to their shows, and Kacey and I loved the music so much we learned to play bluegrass
instruments. Dad, Kacey, And I started playing at our church Emmanuel Baptist and our church family enjoyed it so much that
we decided to play at different churches. Then we were asked to perform at different bluegrass events and churches. From
then on we've been playin bluegrass in West Virginia and Tennessee.
